Annual Report: Economic Impact
The Goal
Community Action Program Belknap - Merrimack Counties (CAPBM) had their annual report to complete; a piece that is about more than just the numbers, but also about CAPBM’s immense community impact.
They had only done one annual report before and with this one, they had hopes of elevating their presentation to a whole new level. The agency sponsors and manages over 70 programs and services designed to meet the needs of children, families, single parents, older people, and the disabled, so there was much to share. But, how could they share it all in an interesting, impactful way that could also be used for the long term? Ready with a theme: "forward movement," emphasizing the organization's efforts to stabilize and support the community, CAPBM connected with JMG for guidance.
The JMG Solution
JMG’s team is well equipped and experienced with annual reports, so we were up to the task. We presented them with a full project management solution for their annual report. The JMG team would set deliverable timelines for information collection, writing, design, review, etc. to ensure CAPBM would have a fully designed, ready for print annual report by their deadline and within their budget.
JMG collaborated with CAPBM’s leadership team to establish a complete list of topics, sections, items to include in the annual report. From there, JMG would collect all the pertinent information from their program leadership teams and review for edits, updates, and guidance on inclusion / exclusion criteria.
Through content reviews, writing, and edits; creation of layout, graphic design, and ongoing communication with the CAPBM team, JMG was able to take an abundance of content and turn it from information overload into a well thought out, impactful story. With JMG’s help, the CAPBM Annual Report takes readers through a CAPBM journey that’s engaging, easy to follow, insightful, and truly captures the community impact CAPBM makes in its communities every day.
