What was the problem that Watermark came to JMG with?
It was 2012 when JMG began working with Watermark, an 11-year partnership in brand development, marketing strategy, business service growth, and more.
JMG was brought on board to facilitate marketing director-level solutions that eliminated the need for internal staff and leadership management. JMG was embedded more as a partner, and less as an outsourced service provider.
Their overall vision and need was to grow Watermark into a recognized leader in waterfront and shoreline lake life living. Working directly with Owner, Paul Goodwin, JMG helped to develop a strong brand presence in their direct NH Lakes Region marketplace as the leading provider of marine construction and marine supply products and services.
How did JMG address this problem and find a solution?
Over these 11 years of working as Watermark’s advertising partner, JMG expanded an overarching brand vision, including the launch of a new retail business, an online e-commerce website, a corporate website, and three supporting service sites. Beyond that, JMG created, booked, and managed a multi 6-figure annual marketing budget, bought and managed media placement, and developed a comprehensive internal and external brand identity, including but not limited to vehicles, signage, team apparel, websites, social, and more, in two regional market places.
JMG also brought new marketing strategies to Watermark’s daily operations, beyond the logo and brand implementation. This included programs email marketing, social media strategies, charitable partnerships and engagements, the launch and integration of new lines of business, creating standard operating procedures, formulated KPIs (key performance indicators), and more, which are all still used today.
How did you achieve this proposed solution?
Each year a marketing strategy was developed by JMG to meet the business goals, growth, and impact created by the leadership team. A plan was developed and implemented with deadlines, reporting, and management of goals and fiscal responsibility.
