Capt'n 4 Hire
The right first impression from the start
What was the problem that the customer/business came to JMG with?
Capt’n 4 Hire was a business in its infancy. Captain Kevin McCarthy knew he had the skills and expertise to offer a great service, and was ready to turn it into a business. He came to JMG for support in establishing the foundation he would need for that transition.
Kevin and his wife Sylvia sought strategy support, as well as brand creation for key marketing practices to build visibility, awareness and experience for continued interaction and customer growth. This called for strategies and systems to embed the brand and mission philosophies into everyday business visibility.
Capt’n 4 Hire needed a full brand build from the ground up.
How did you address this problem? What plan or solution did you present?
JMG presented Capt’n 4 Hire with a A 4-6-month development, design, launch and support journey - an intimate, next level brand creation to include logo, colors, fonts, brand stories (Mission - Vision - Bio Statement - Founder’s Story), a website, design of brand marketing material, strategy, support, guidance and more.
How did you achieve this proposed solution?
Capt’n 4 Hire is a new business and we wanted to ensure the brand emerged as an authentic representation of Kevin and Sylvia’s vision, values, and caliber of service.
Through meetings and interviews with the Capt’n 4 Hire team, JMG both guided and listened to their clients in order to gain a true understanding of what Capt’n 4 Hire has to offer. As information was gathered, JMG remained in regular communication with the team to ensure we were accurately capturing their vision and building the right messaging and design that was both in alignment with who they are and would attract their ideal clients.
JMG worked in seamless collaboration with Capt’n 4 Hire, welcoming open and honest feedback throughout the proofing process as we worked toward a result that would be effective and authentic.
JMG is proud of what we created for Capt’n 4 Hire. Providing everything from copywriting to design, business coaching to SEO, we delivered Capt’n 4 Hire a full brand guide that includes logo, colors, fonts, mission statement, vision statement, bio statement, founder’s story, value proposition, as well as a beautiful user-friendly website and accompanying assets such as letterhead, business card, and more. All ready in time for Capt’n 4 Hire to launch into a busy summer season!
What do you believe the overall impact was? Are there any quotes of kind words or impact statements?
The Capt’n 4 Hire team of Kevin and Sylvia were thrilled with how JMG was able to pull together their vision for their new business through graphics, words and images that are in alignment with that vision and attract their ideal clients.
Upon completion of our initial branding beyond the logo project, Captain Kevin McCarthy had this to say:
“I want to thank you and your team for helping us tell our story! Sylvia and I are beyond excited about the branding and website. And the positive feedback is tremendous. Folks are commenting on the professional look and feel of our site. Certainly we value the opportunity for your assistance as we move ahead.”
Even more telling is the success of this young business so far. Capt’n 4 Hire is doing very well! Captain Kevin reports, “WOW, what a start. We’re super excited about what we’ve learned and where we are headed. Two things stand out: the people we’ve met and the diversity of boats I’m on.”
In fact, business has been going so well, that Kevin discovered an additional need for his clients that he hadn’t before considered. He has since added this service to his menu of offerings, and once again, asked JMG for help with presenting the new service on his website, among a few other updates.
Upon completion of this brief project, he shared these sentiments:
“I like the updates you’ve made. I’ve also taken the opportunity to review the website as a whole and truly feel you’ve captured the tone and message perfectly. Sylvia and I are super pleased with the product. Thanks again for helping us tell our story.”
