A full scope solution for a full brand build out
What was the problem that the customer/business came to JMG with?
In May of 2023, WORK Lakes Region was a new business just under development. The Coworking and Event Studio had just signed a lease and while the build out of the space was just beginning, WORK also needed a full build out on a brand for this entirely new concept for the Lakes Region. Their needs included logo, fonts, color palette, website copywriting and design, and brand messaging to include Mission and Bio Statement, Founder’s Story, Value / Impact Statements and more. This was a full brand build out essentially, quite literally from the ground up.
In addition, this new business would need to be introduced to the community in a way that not only generated excitement of the soon to be available business, but would educate the public on what a coworking space is and what it can offer to professionals and students alike.
How did you address this problem? What plan or solution did you present?
Our JMG team met with WORK Lakes Region’s founder / creator for a deep dive into her vision for WORK Lakes Region to gain a full understanding of the services to be offered, the purpose of the business, the ideal clients, and more.
We presented a full scope solution to include a full branding beyond the logo package, as well as business launch marketing strategy and implementation.
How did you achieve this proposed solution?
Through JMG team meetings with the client that included our owner and marketing and business strategist, graphic designer, website designer and director of storytelling, we were able to collect as much information as we could, allowing us to understand the business and our client so well that we could share in her vision as if it were our own.

In addition, we offered our marketing agency services to build a marketing strategy ahead of the business’s completion, so we’d be ready to spread the word as soon as WORK was ready to accept memberships. JMG put together a marketing strategy, designed the assets, and implemented the client approved plan in line with the client’s budget. The plan included:

What do you believe the overall impact was? Are there any quotes of kind words or impact statements?
WORK Lakes Region opened its doors in October, 2023 and the brand and business have both been extremely well-received. Comments on the logo and website have been positive and the continued marketing has the community talking about the concept of coworking; something that’s new to the region.
WORK has shared they have had people come to WORK to conduct their business of the day because they easily found them online through a Google Search, or heard about it via one of the other marketing channels.
More importantly, WORK has gained regular members to include those who choose to work at a coworking desk, as well as those who have booked full time private offices. The goal was to spread the word and educate, and judging by the amount of curious guests, already committed members, and the amount of buzz around the community, JMG has done and continues to do its job. The future's looking bright for WORK Lakes Region!
