What was the problem that Belknap EDC came to JMG with?
With a desire to increase their messaging on a more regular basis, create stronger brand and mission education, and increase the business community visibility and engagement, Belknap EDC released a “Request For Proposal” to find a provider that could establish new operating systems for these goals, as well as provide recurring implementation services. In response to this RFP for marketing support in 2012, JMG proudly began its journey with Belknap EDC, making them one of JMG’s original clients.
How did JMG address this problem and find a solution?
Working with a lean budget, JMG created in-kind and low-cost marketing initiatives and evergreen campaigns that are still in use and managed today. This included radio programming, evergreen scripting, annual meeting reports and event support, email marketing, social media development and content, case studies, and more.
How did JMG achieve this proposed solution?
With ongoing annual and monthly strategy meetings, JMG works collaboratively with the Executive Director at Belknap EDC to create campaigns and initiatives using their marketing platforms to educate, inspire, connect and influence the organization's mission, services, and resources.
JMG implemented the use of Mailchimp and various Social Media platforms, designed and coordinated print signage, and wrote / posted blogs, and more. All of which, JMG continues to do for Belknap EDC when needed. In addition, JMG to designed and continues to host / manage the website (to which we recently added an ADA accessibility widget to accommodate people with disabilities).
JMG’s direct impact on Belknap EDC?
JMG’s tremendous impact can be seen through measurable successes such as: creating a Lakes Region Young Talent Campaign in 2012-2015 that was featured in Forbes Magazine, working with Belknap EDC to establish a Lakes Region Manufacturing Week in 2013, which transitioned into a State Program in year 3, and hosting a fundraising Radio Telethon for the Colonial Theater Redevelopment Project among other campaigns.
